Help make a difference to children in Bali by volunteering at a home and school for children with special needs. At the school, we teach the children with special needs to be independent and provide them with employment opportunities based on their capabilities. In this volunteer program, we also help the orphaned and less fortunate children to be able to continue their schooling by providing them with scholarship and English classes.

Program Highlights:

  • Co-teach children with special needs
  • Help in Physiotherapy program (including swimming and helping in the aqua therapy pool)
  • Cooking for the children
  • Organic gardening
  • Teaching English to the orphaned and less fortunate children
  • Teaching yoga, music, art & computer

We believe that education will break the poverty chain in Bali and enable the children to have a brighter future, and we'd love your help!

Start Dates & Minimum Duration

To volunteer with this program, there is a minimum duration requirement of 4 weeks. This is due to the nature of work involving young children and vulnerable adults, and ensuring they have enough time to ethically form a relationship with you as a volunteer. We do recommend volunteering for longer durations if possible, but the very minimum duration for our programs involving children and vulnerbale adults is 4 weeks.

This volunteer program runs all year round and starts every Monday. However, we recommend arriving on the Sunday to check into your accommodation and prepare for your program to start the following morning.

Please note that program start dates could be affected by local holidays. However, we will give you as much notice as possible if any days of your program may overlap with holidays.
